Aesthetic Movement Cast Iron Double Floral Hook
This Aesthetic Movement was based in the emerging Victorian belief that
beautiful objects should exist for the enjoyment of all. In that light,
artists increasingly turned away from strict functional objects for mass
production and began to embellish them with natural decorative themes.
This solid cast iron hook celebrates the Aesthetic Movement with small flower
blossoms and scrolling foliage.
Dimensions: 3.5"H x 2.75"W. Period of Reproduction: Aesthetic
Movement 1860-1890.
