Antique Brown Majolica Yellowware Iris Pitcher
Excellent condition--no chips, cracks or repairs--on this late Victorian,
antique yellowware pitcher with an all-over glossy brown majolica glaze.
As shown, this pitcher features an Iris flower on each side with borders of
geometric shapes and ribbing along the bottom. In addition, the pitcher
has an arched handle with molded relief. Three stilt marks on the bottom.
A great example of early American utilitarian pottery.
