Antique Rare Bangor Maine Redware Pitcher
Mint, circa 1850, rare example of Bangor, Maine redware. This pitcher
of men and women drinking beneath scrolling grape vines. Gloss glaze with
very thin glaze at top which is the result of its primitive manufacture.
No damage. Bottom label reads: REDSTONE FROM BANGOR, ME about 1850
IDENTIFIED BY GEORGE MICHAL ROCHESTER, N.H. ANTIQUE FORUM NOV. 1992.
Dimensions: 4 1/2" H x 5" W.
Period of Production: Victorian 1838-1901.
