Each piece of the Teco Art Pottery Collection™ is both useful
and beautiful as a water-tight vase or as the perfect accent piece. By blending historical and
modern aesthetics with natural, eco-friendly materials, this elegant shape
honors the past while appealing to modern sensibilities. The original was
sculpted by William Mundie and was design number 286 in the Teco catalog.
Teco (an abbreviation of TErra COtta)
art pottery was originally produced from 1899 through 1920 by the American Terra
Cotta and Ceramics Company, located in Terra Cotta, Illinois. There are about
500 different Teco shapes, whose forms can be categorized as architectural,
organic or classical.
This is the last
example of this vase as this form has been retired. Available in Aqua
only.
