Vintage Filigree Tin Box Advertising Ardath Cigarettes
Nice old tin box that originally contained Ardath Cork-Tipepd Cigarettes.
This is a particularly decorative box with high-relief scrolling filigree all
over and its original soft wood lining. As shown, the tin has taken on a strong
patina since the 1940's and is considerably darkened with the lighter tin on the
inside shown in the last image.
This box measures 3 1/4" by 6 5/8" by 2 1/8" tall and is in great condition
with no chips, cracks, dents or repairs. The bottom is embossed with ARDATH
CORK TIPPED CIGS. An unusual piece for your collection. Would make a great
small document box.
