Exceptional terra cotta bust produced at Aluminia, a Danish factory
established in Copenhagen in 1863, later becoming Royal Copenhagen, by Johannes
Hedegaard (1915-1999). Subject features Hedegaard's famous forms and color
combinations as a scarf tied behind her neck. Fully marked on the inside
underside and signed by Hedegaard. An important piece of mid-century art.
